Help Us Celebrate
American Pharmacist Month
During a period of time in which the future of Pharmacy is uncertain, now is a better time than ever to help promote the profession by participating in American Pharmacist Month during the month of October. Since 2004, the American Pharmacy Association has sponsored American Pharmacists Month to “recognize the significant contributions to health care and the commitment to patient care by pharmacists in ALL practice settings from around the country.” The theme for the American Pharmacist Month is “Know your medicine, know your Pharmacist".

The Wyoming Pharmacy Association supports American Pharmacist Month 2009 and encourages all pharmacists in Wyoming to participate.

The Board of Directors for the Wyoming Pharmacy Association would like to thank everyone that attened the 92nd Annual WPhA/WSHP Convention. Fight4rx.org
On February 1, NCPA is launching the Fight4Rx campaign (www.fight4rx.org) to educate patients about the value of community pharmacy, and to recruit them as activists for the protection of community pharmacy in Congress during the health care reform debate. To make Fight4Rx successful, we need pharmacists nationwide to begin recruiting patients today. The sign-up form is available for download at http://www.pharmacistelink.com/Fight4Rx_Flyer.pdf until the February 1 launch date. Ask your patients to fill out the form in your pharmacy and return it to you directly. As you receive completed forms, fax them back, either daily or weekly to NCPA at 703-683-3619.
